WELCA is the Women of the ELCA.
If you are a woman at Trondhjem you are a WELCA member. The “core group” of WELCA women is small, but dedicated and welcoming to all. We meet the third Tuesday during the months of September to May for fellowship and a short Bible study or a related topic of discussion. If we have an upcoming event we’ll discuss and finalize plans.
Our WELCA group is very informal. Basically it’s like getting together with your sisters or girlfriends. It’s a great way to meet and get better acquainted with women at Trondhjem.
In the past we’ve had Mother/Daughter Banquets, Craft Fairs, Taste Luncheons and classes on knitting, felting, card stamping and jewelry making.
We’d really enjoy seeing you at our meetings. Please come and share your thoughts on what would make this evening one that would be meaningful to you and to other. We meet the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m, September through May.
