The focus this Sunday is on prayer and spirituality. At the 10 am service there will be expressions of appreciation for all who have been involved in our children’s and youth ministries. The Sunday School children will recite their memory work from this past year. AND, new members will be received. The 8 am service will again be a more traditional and liturgical service.
Between the services and after the 10 am service the Health Fair will take place in the Fellowship Hall.
There is no Women of the ELCA meeting tonight. Though we expect as women we will be doing God’s work in our gardens, at work and with our friends and family throughout this summer. We look forward to gathering as a group in September!
What will you give your mother for Mother’s Day? Jesus provides some advice to us all about our life as his disciples. It can help to guide us to giving a very special gift to our mothers. Worship is still at 8 am and 10 am.
Using the “faith statements” the confirmation students have written, we will examine the “living water” that Jesus provides. Are you spiritual thirsty? Come and be refreshed at Trondhjem. (The 8 am service will likely have plenty of seating.)
Make sure to hit up our Trondhjem Youth Garage Sale, Sat. May 5, 7am – 4pm 130 Delaware Street SE ~ in Lonsdale.
It’s not too late to donate items! Drop them off this evening from 5:00 – 8:00.

The Trondhjem Men’s Group meets on this Saturday, April 5th at 8 am.
Luke Darnauer will prepare breakfast which will be followed by some friendly conversation and maybe some
guided discussion on a faith/bible topic.

The episode of Mary sitting at Jesus’ feet, while Martha is busy with many tasks, is well-known by many. This Sunday at Trondhjem we will explore how the episode can provide good guidance for many times in our lives.

This idea came from a TLC member comment. Some donors appreciate knowing that every dollar they give goes directly to the cause – expecting nothing in return. These donations will also be noted on your End of the Year Contribution Statement.
Do you lose things? Things that are very valuable? Jesus uses the parables of the lost sheep and the lost coin to explain how God cares very deeply about those of us who are lost. This Sunday at Trondhjem we will explore the meaning of these parables and how they apply to our lives. It is not just things that are lost to us. Sometimes, it is people who are lost. Come and join with others as we learn of God’s love that never gives up on those who are lost.
